ABOUT BEST DIGITAL PIANO

Best Digital Piano Is All About Helping You Choose Your Perfect Digital Piano

Hi! I’m Rosemary.

I’m a piano teacher in Sydney, and I often get asked by my students and their parents about buying a digital piano. I have been answering these question for many years, and I thought it was time to put my information all together in one place, to help more people find the perfect digital piano for their needs!

I have to say from the outset, if you are able to afford an acoustic piano and it is practical for your space and your situation, then that is absolutely my first recommendation. However, I recognise there are many circumstances that mean this just isn’t possible, and a digital piano is the only solution.

If this is the case for you, then read on – this site is for you!

I started piano lessons when I was 9 years old, and learned on an acoustic piano through my school years. When I was studying at the Sydney Conservatorium, I moved out of home, and I needed a piano to practice on.

As a student, I had a small budget, I was living with another family during the week, and often needed to practise late at night. Additionally, I knew that my life as a young person meant that I would be moving around a fair bit before settling down. While I had acoustic pianos to practise on at Uni, I also needed something quiet and portable to use at home … so an electric piano was the perfect solution!

These days, I have 2 acoustic pianos, but I still have a digital piano, as a spare for my daughter to practise on while I’m using the studio!!

Whether you are on a tight budget, have less space, need a portable piano option that doesn’t need tuning, need a digital stage piano for performance, or just want the added features of varied sounds and the benefits of recording options in your piano, then I hope you’ll find the best digital piano for you on these pages.

All the best,

Rosemary
